About Jacksonville

Jacksonville is a large city on the Atlantic coast of Northern Florida. It’s the largest city in terms of land area in the United States and is a major economic center for the state. There are nearby barrier islands which are popular for surfers and for swimming. It’s known for many museums, attractions, sports games (Jacksonville Jaguars!) and other cultural and urban experiences.

The best time of year to visit Jacksonville is during the shoulder seasons from March through May and September & October. This way you’ll avoid the crowds of families who are off school, while still enjoying the sunshine and warm beach weather. The winter in Jacksonville is mild but much cooler than southern Florida destinations like the Keys and Miami. Most people do not swim in the Atlantic during the winter here.

Jacksonville has a large international airport. This is the easiest way to access the city. You can also arrive by train, there is an Amtrak train station. There are Greyhound bus terminals for people arriving from certain US origin cities. It’s well-connected to many major cities in the United States.

Monterey 268 Super Sport Bowrider in Jacksonville Beach, Florida

It was a pleasure to work with Blake: he was flexible, accommodating, communicative. He delivered on all the promises, even bought a new tube for my kid to enjoy while boating. Was ready to help before, during, and after our boating trip, really helpful and pleasant to work with. The boat was perfect for what we needed - we rode in comfort, were able to wakeboard, tube, cruise around. Powerful boat, easy to operate, comfortable seats. It was tough to find a good boat for the right price, for us Blake was an excellent choice, will definitely go again.
