About Jacksonville

Jacksonville is a large city on the Atlantic coast of Northern Florida. It’s the largest city in terms of land area in the United States and is a major economic center for the state. There are nearby barrier islands which are popular for surfers and for swimming. It’s known for many museums, attractions, sports games (Jacksonville Jaguars!) and other cultural and urban experiences.

The best time of year to visit Jacksonville is during the shoulder seasons from March through May and September & October. This way you’ll avoid the crowds of families who are off school, while still enjoying the sunshine and warm beach weather. The winter in Jacksonville is mild but much cooler than southern Florida destinations like the Keys and Miami. Most people do not swim in the Atlantic during the winter here.

Jacksonville has a large international airport. This is the easiest way to access the city. You can also arrive by train, there is an Amtrak train station. There are Greyhound bus terminals for people arriving from certain US origin cities. It’s well-connected to many major cities in the United States.

Listen, the only reason why this is a 5 star review is due to the fact that is the max rating I can give on the website. This was a turned up to 11 sort of rental. First let me say the boat crew at the marine were prepared, knowledgeable, but most of all friendly and patient. Secondly, the boat was amazing! Fit the entire family easy to drive, easy to tow tubes with, no problems, well maintained, exuberantly clean (by far the cleanest boat I've been on or I've owned... unfortunately sometimes the truth hurts lol). I was also happy to not worry about hurting sea life as this is a jet drive and has no actual blade to hurt them or anyone getting in or out of the boat. Last but certainly not least, Stephen. Let me say this man's communication was top notch before with questions, during, and even afterwards. Even with a busy schedule he still made it feel like the service was the only thing he was doing for the day. I know I privately thanked you but let me publicly thank you from myself and my entire family everyone enjoyed the boat (even our grumpiest participant cheered up after take off.) 11 out of 10 would definitely rent and use Stephen and his marina again.

This was an amazing trip. We rent boats all over the country as we travel full time, and this was by far the best boat rental yet. The boat was immaculate, well cared for and gorgeous. The captain was accommodating and very kind. For this type of boat the price was super reasonable. We will be back for sure!
