About Jacksonville

Jacksonville is a large city on the Atlantic coast of Northern Florida. It’s the largest city in terms of land area in the United States and is a major economic center for the state. There are nearby barrier islands which are popular for surfers and for swimming. It’s known for many museums, attractions, sports games (Jacksonville Jaguars!) and other cultural and urban experiences.

The best time of year to visit Jacksonville is during the shoulder seasons from March through May and September & October. This way you’ll avoid the crowds of families who are off school, while still enjoying the sunshine and warm beach weather. The winter in Jacksonville is mild but much cooler than southern Florida destinations like the Keys and Miami. Most people do not swim in the Atlantic during the winter here.

Jacksonville has a large international airport. This is the easiest way to access the city. You can also arrive by train, there is an Amtrak train station. There are Greyhound bus terminals for people arriving from certain US origin cities. It’s well-connected to many major cities in the United States.

Tubing, Wake Boarding or Just Cruising with a Monterey 218 Super Sport

Brian was great to rent from. He gave us exactly the boat we were looking for and the right locations to make the day really enjoyable. Everyone in my group was exhausted at the end of the day, which means all of the water sports (wakeboarding, kneeboarding, tubing and skiing) were all fantastic. Great boat and accessories = completely satisfied customers.

Tubing, Wake Boarding or Just Cruising with a Monterey 218 Super Sport

The boat was so fun, my family (of 4) had the best day out on the water. Swimming, tubing, kneeboarding, renting it all day is the way to go. We packed our lunch in the cooler and had no worries all day! Definitely would recommend this. Pat and owner. Brian responds quickly and recommended places to go if you aren’t sure.
