Top boat rental and water experiences to try in Sausalito
Poised on the San Francisco Bay at the northern end of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito has been by turns the home of several bootleggers’ operations during Prohibition, a shipbuilding center during World War II, and has now assumed a new identity as a haven for artists, as well as a charming residential district and boater’s paradise. It enjoys a Mediterranean climate, but the brisk breezes off of the Bay help keep it cool and fresh year round.

The trip was fabulous! Everyone had so much fun, and it was the perfect mix of relaxing and adventurous. Rick was a great captain and let us help out with stuff around the boat since we were interested. It was the most beautiful day and weather could not have been better. Would highly recommend!
We had a wonderful Labor Day sail on the bay with Captains Efe and Dogen. They are the utmost professionals and truly skilled sailors. We had the perfect mix of easy cruising and fast sailing. This is the perfect thing to do during COVID-19. They followed all the precautions necessary to keep everyone safe. The boat is clean and the lifevests were good as well. It was great having the whole boat to ourselves too. The fresh bay air was just the thing everyone needed!
Timothy was great to say the least! He communicates well and fast. He's accommodating and friendly. His boat is well taken care of, super clean and has all the little details you might not think you need. He even had a celebratory banner up for us!
During this time of COVID, it was refreshing to get out of town and head for the ocean. It was a good day for sailing and it was made perfect with Memo as our Captain. His instructions throughout the booking process was great! Great communication via GetMyBoat app. After booking we were able to communicate via email and cell phone. Basic Instinct was a beauty. She was much more then I was expecting. Very room and so much space to move around while we were anchored and sailing. The sights of San Francisco were enhanced by Memo's knowledge of the area. Anything we wanted to know he had an answer. We dropped anchor outside of McCovey Cove with other boats for the SF Giants game. We were then able to splash into the water and enjoy the cool refreshing water. What a rush! Memo documented everything for us! Capturing the once in a lifetime moments. Who would of thought we would of caught a Splash Zone Baseball!! I cannot say enough how much we had a fantastic time. Take the plunge and the opportunity to spend the day with Memo aboard Basic Instinct.
We had an amazing time on the boat! The listing is exactly accurate and he even accommodated us when we were a little tardy for our reservation. The route he took was perfect and allowed us to see the entire bay. We will definitely be booking again!
We had a great time . The Captain and his crew were respectful of COVID guidelines and very accommodating to our group. He took us on a route that was sunny and calm and made sure we all were having a good time in a safe way. The rate was great and we definitely got lovely views of the city. Thanks for an awesome birthday!
