The Albania Rafting Group (ARG) is the leading adventure tourism company in the Republic of Albania. It has been instrumental in the creation of the Albanian Rafting Federation (ARF), which regulates rafting in Albania, promotes high standards in activity tourism and works with other stakeholders to market Albania as a major adventure tourism destination in Europe. It has developed a concept for the Albanian Adventure Resort (AAR) in Skrapar District in Berat County. The AAR has been registered as a joint stock company (public-private partnership) between the ARF and the Albanian Ministry of Education and Sport (MES). The proposed location offers an abundance of possibilities for adventure activities, including rafting in the nearby Osumi Canyon, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing and numerous other outdoor sports.

Frequently Asked Questions: • Do I have to own myself the equipment required for Rafting ? - You need to have with you a bathing suit, an extra pair of old sneakers/closed sandals/aqua shoes, a towel. Albania Rafting Group provides all the equipment (rafts boat, paddle, wet-suits, life jackets, helmet) for a safe trip. • Should I have experience in the sport of Rafting or I can be accepted as an amateur? - The rafting tours are designed for tourists with no rafting experience. Certified rafting instructors will guide you through the tour making sure the trip is safe and fun at the same time. • I can't swim. Can I go Rafting? Of course you can still do rafting in the beginner levels. However you cannot go rafting if you have some kind of water phobia.
