In fact, let’s take that a step further… If you’re ready to lock horns with some of the greatest saltwater sport fish then Naples, FL is the perfect spot. Naples has a semi-tropical climate that supports a year-round inshore/nearshore fishery, home to Tarpon, Snook, and Redfish, along with numerous other species of hard fighting game fish. Young (or not)… Experienced (or not)… It makes no difference – I’ll show you an unforgettable Naples fishing adventure aboard my custom built Pathfinder boat – Comfortable, safe, and specifically built for fishing in Naples and the surrounding waters of southwest Florida. Tarpon Fishing in Naples Yep… That’s me at the top of this web page. In my opinion Tarpon are the most amazing fish that swims in the Naples waters. Long hard runs and huge aerial displays best describe these giants of the waters. In Naples their average size is 60 to 100 lbs, although every year we catch Tarpon pushing 150lbs. When I go on a Tarpon fishing charter I like to get on the water before sunrise, catch enough bait for the trip, and then run the beaches looking for schools of Tarpon. Spring through Fall are the best months of the year to go on a Naples fishing charter for Tarpon. Naples Snook Fishing Aggressive… And probably the most sought after game fish in Florida. We catch them year-round in Naples. In the cold Winter months Snook take shelter in the small warm watered creeks that filter into Naples and Marco Island. In the Spring we tend to catch bigger fish as they are getting ready to spawn. I personally like to use live bait for Snook fishing as it gets them to aggressively attack. In the Summer you’ll see schools of 10 to 30 Snook patrolling the shallow beach waters waiting to attack just about anything offered to them. Each fishing trip is customized to meet your fishing needs. We fish out of two different boats depending on the number of anglers and the kind of fishing we will be doing. We run a custom Skeeter ZX22v powered by a Yamaha 250 4 stroke Minn Kota I Pilot trolling motor and dual 10ft power poles. This boat will fish up to four anglers and has plenty of livewell space. We also run a 2007 Hewes Tailfisher also powered by a Yamaha. This boat runs very shallow and is perfect for two anglers. Our Pathfinder boat was custom built specifically for fishing the inshore and nearshore waters of Naples and southwest Florida. It is extreemly stable, exceedingly dry, and provide tremendous fishability. As you can see in the photo… Our boat floats in less than a foot of water, a necessity to safely traverse the inshore waters of Naples. Safe, comfortable, and dry – It is the perfect fishing charter boat. All tackle used is top of the line Penn rods and reels, G Loomis, Owner hooks, Spiderwire braided line, Momoi Monofilament, and D.O.A. Lures. In addition, we provide your fishing license and a cooler with ice for your food/drink. Please bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
