Rates: (for 2 hours day sailing) $495 2 people $600 3 - 6 people What You Can Expect: We offer two-hour sailing tours from Battery Park City, NY, to the sights of Lower Manhattan. Seven days a week, the sailboat tara will leave the dock at North Cove Marina inside near Brookfield Place. Our sails are limited to six passengers so you are guaranteed a personal experience. Private sails are also available for 2 or 3-6 people. You will sail past the sights of Lower Manhattan, including the Freedom Tower, Battery Park, Governors Island and Ellis Island, while ending with a close-up view of our majestic lady in the harbor, the Statue of Liberty. Please feel free to BYOB. Features: Tara is a 1964 Hinckley Custom Pilot 35 sailboat, designed by the famous Sparkman and Stephens design team. Only 117 Pilot 35’s were built, with only four custom-labeled. Being the 25th boat to roll out of the Hinckley Company Maine facility, Tara became a custom Pilot 35 as her coach roof was built higher than the normal Pilot 35. Tara is extremely stable, comfortable and fun to sail. She has a full keel which allows her to glide through NY harbor effortlessly. If the weather should turn inclement, the handsome-varnished wood interior is available for you to enjoy in style and comfort.

Additional Terms & Information
Within 5 days of sail booked: No rebooking and no refund. Please arrive 15 minutes early to avoid losing your payment as we will set sail five minutes past your scheduled sailing time. If you are a now show there will be no refund and no possibility to re-book your sail even if you contact us ahead to say you are running late. Every possible effort will be made to go sailing on your scheduled date and time. For safety reasons we reserve the right to cancel any sail due to adverse weather conditions. Adverse conditions include but are not limited to: excessive winds (to be determined by the Captain of the vessel), thunder and lightning storms and other extreme weather warnings issued by The National Weather Service. Cancelled sails to due to adverse weather conditions or mechanical failure will receive an email voucher valid for one calendar year. Absolutely no refunds will be issued. Please note that sailing will occur during the following conditions: Rain, cloudy skies, cold or hot temperatures and humid conditions.
