All fishing tackle and equipment is provided including bait, lures and life jackets. You will need to bring food and drink and appropriate clothing. You will also need to buy a one-day fishing license & tag prior to your trip, this cost is extra (Some guides sell them onboard, check with guide prior to trip or purchasing a license). Licenses are available at Fred Meyers, BI Mart and Sporting Goods stores. Cost for an Oregon one-day license/tag is $19.00. To purchase a fishing license online click Oregon If you purchase your license prior to trip be sure you get the license for the date or dates you will be fishing. If you already have an Oregon or Washington license either one is good when fishing the lower Columbia River near Astoria, no matter which side of the river you meet your guide (please check with your guide to confirm this). Kids 11 yrs. and under do not need a license, but will need a tag if fishing for salmon, steelhead or sturgeon. Note: If fishing the Columbia River you will also need to purchase a Columbia River Endorsement $9.75. Tipping is encouraged for exceptional service.
