What To Expect Onboard: Nebula is a Beneteau 393, which is a 40-foot sloop rig sailboat that has been praised for its comfort and performance. Nebula is perfect for Chicago sailing, and available for Lake Michigan sailing charters. The whole forward portion of the boat is dedicated for the owner’s stateroom. This very comfortable cabin has a large, clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated head all the way forward. The Pullman berth is immediately aft on the port side. To the starboard is a vanity and a generous cedar lined hanging locker. This cabin has two large overhead hatches with shades and screens. The two staterooms in Nebula are fitted with comfortable beds, comforters, and fine linens. Climate control (A/C and Heat) are controlled by separate thermostats in each cabin. Both bathrooms have separate doors from the cabins and full showers. Nebula’s main salon has a large U-shaped dinette to port which provides you with leather seating and a Cherry table. There was a strong emphasis on the part of Beneteau to provide superb natural light and ventilation, and with numerous fixed and opening ports and hatches, the salon of Nebula is wonderfully bright and fresh. The rich Cherry finished interior woodwork really looks great. The aft cabin is exceptionally large quarter cabin by anyone’s standards with numerous opening ports and hatches providing excellent ventilation. A 20″ flat screen TV/Monitor is mounted in the main salon, for your viewing pleasure which transforms the Nebula into a floating conference/meeting center. The wonderful key-hole galley incorporated into the interior of the two cabin layout on Nebula is both functional and beautiful.
