Luke started working on boats at the age of 19 after gaining his Yacht Master Oceans degree. Having worked in Greece as a flotilla skipper and a sail trainer, he has extensive experience of the Greek waters so you can be sure you’re getting the best advice on where to sail and where to find some of the world’s most amazing secluded beaches. As well as working on sailing yachts, Luke also has experience working on super yachts and tall ships, as relief captain, engineer or bosun- sometimes all three! He and Emily own a yacht near their home in Suffolk, which he fully restored after it was left for ruin for 18 years. Luke’s passion for mechanics and engineering began when he started helping out in the family garage aged 10. Emily has worked in hospitality for over 15 years and is passionate about her work as a hostess aboard yachts. With her love for travelling, Emily has lived and work all over the world. But after spending extensive amounts of time in Greece over the years, it now feels more like home than home! So, when she and Luke came up with the idea of Stern 2 Sailing, it made sense to be based in possibly the world’s greatest area for sailing- and a place they both know so well
