What You Can Expect: Enjoy a 90-minute scenic cruise on beautiful Lake Pleasant, available year-round. Narration of the lake's history and wildlife is provided. Cruisers will learn about Lake Pleasant, The Agua Fria River, The HoHoKom Tribe, The Old Waddell Dam, The New Waddell Dam, area wildlife and recreational activities at Lake Pleasant. You may see wild burro, deer, javalina, coyote, foxes, bald eagles, or other bird species. Lake Pleasant is a man-made Lake. The reservoir is 10,000 acres and boasts 116 miles of shoreline. The Agua Fria River features extensive canyon walls and is accessible only at certain times during the year. Come experience our oasis in the desert on this cruise. Drink specials, snacks and a full bar available (cash only). What To Expect Onboard: The 65-foot-long Phoenix is a one-of-a kind custom-built twin-engine-diesel 150-passenger boat with all-steel construction. It was designed and built to commercial U.S. Coast Guard standards for passenger vessels. The enclosed, climate-controlled main deck features seating for up to 100 guests. The top deck is open air and can also seat up to 100 guests. A canopy is currently being constructed to allow for inclement weather. For client pleasure, The Phoenix is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system and a full-service bar.
