Several types of tours, for all ages and skill levels, are available. Let us take the work out of a day on the water for you, your family, or any group up to fourteen. Saint Paul Tour This tour begins in the beautiful backwaters of the Minnesota River at one of Saint Paul’s most popular historical destinations, Fort Snelling. Enjoy some of the rich history, and preserved wetlands of our amazing capital city as you paddle past Pike Island, under multiple bridges, and finally ascend into downtown Saint Paul. As the adventure nears an end we will be greeted by an amazing view of the high bridge and the downtown skyline, a great picture opportunity for you and your group. The tour concludes at Harriet Island Park, directly west of downtown Saint Paul. Here you will be free to explore the park or enjoy a packed lunch. This tour is great for big groups and requires little skill or kayak experience. As long as conditions are favorable, this is a very calm, enjoyable paddle through our beautiful capital city. • Approximately 3 hrs • Includes kayak, paddle, life jacket, and guide • Tours available Saturdays at 9 a.m. and Sundays at 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Minneapolis Paddle down the crystal clear waters of Minnehaha Creek beginning at Lynnhurst Park in South Minneapolis. Join us as we wind through an urban wilderness flanked by trails and parkways. Enjoy a swift current and occasional class one rapids as we adventure across five miles of Minneapolis' back yard. The trip comes to an end at the famous Minnehaha Falls Park home to its 53-foot namesake, picnic facilities, and paths that allow you to adventure all the way to the Mississippi. This adventure is best for the experienced paddler who feels confident navigating tight turns and small water obstacles. During low water levels you may even need get your feet into the water, but don't count this tour out. It offers the most excitement, an intimate view of an urban oasis, and a connection to our flour milling past. • Approximately 3 hours • Includes kayak, paddle, life jacket, and guide • Tours available Saturdays at 1 p.m. Hudson Bay Enjoy the amazing sunsets from the calm waters of Hudson Bay on the St Croix river, just a short drive from the Twin Cities in Hudson Wisconsin. These evening tours consist of a relaxed paddle around the bay, its many islands and beaches while taking in the beautiful views. Experience eagles soaring overhead, turtles crawling the shores, and locals enjoying their secret fishing spots. Save your appetite and let your guide point you in the direction of one of the many great restaurants and nightlife that quaint downtown Hudson has to offer. • Approximately 3 hours • Includes kayak, paddle, life jacket, and guide • Available Friday and Saturday evenings at 6 p.m. Corporate and Group Tours We offer private group tours. Enjoy your time on the water with co-workers, wedding parties, you name it. Check out our scheduled tours or talk with us about creating your own custom route. We recommend the Hudson, WI tour during the daytime on Fridays. This environment is great for engaging in activities like kayak games, fishing, swimming, or lying leisurely on the beach. Hudson also offers great food, drink, and night life options for after the adventure. Our guides can engage the group through structured team building and challenge activities, or simply oversee an unstructured, laid back tour to allow paddlers to let loose. Additional Terms & Information
Good Weather Policy Safety is our top priority. We will not cancel a tour to avoid a little rain but if conditions are or are expected to become risky we will issue a full refund or reschedule your tour rather than take any chances. This also includes water levels and the rate of flowing water coming down river. Cancellation Policy Due to the small intimate sizes of our tours we require 5 days advance notice of cancellations to receive a full refund. Children Children 10 and under are required to be in a tandem kayak with an adult. The swift and confined nature of Minnehaha Creek does not allow for tandem kayaks. Tipping Our guides work hard to ensure you have the best possible experience on the water. Although its not required, we encourage you to show your appreciation. Gratuity can also be added afterwards electronically. Private Tours All tours offered through our website are public, group based tours. Please call us to schedule a private tour with up to 14 guests. Transportation Our tours are designed to provide transportation from the landing or tour destination to the point of entry. We also offer pick up and drop off services for a small charge. Please contact us to arrange.
