AK - Z AdventuresI am a bartender that has a passion for kayaking and flying. I follow the tourist seasons and travel between Alaska and Arizona. The summer months of May-September I reside in Seward, AK. I live in Scottsdale, AZ the rest of the year. This is where the name AK -Z adventures originated. I have always been interested in fluid dynamics and pursued a degree in avaition to continue my studies of fluid dynamics. Kayaking has been a lifetime hobby of mine. The first time I kayaked was very similar to the first time I ever flew an air plane, it was exhilirating and made me feel free to explore the world. AK-Z Adventures started in 2012 when a friend of mine visited me in Alaska. He had never been to Alaska and I wanted to show him all the beauty Alaska has to offer. We took the whistle stop train back into the Chugach National forest to kayak in Spencers Lake, a once in a lifetime opportunity to kayak next to iceburgs and glaciers. After this amazing trip I was determined to turn my passion for kayaking into something I could share with others and hopefully inspire a sense of adventure into their everyday lives.
