24' Carolina Skiff Fishing Boat in Homosassa, Florida with Captain Duane

Go fishing in Homosassa, Florida on 24' Carolina Skiff center console for $430 USD per day. Boat comes with fishing gear, tackle and bait. Florida flats fishing guide specializing in catching redfish, trout, grouper and tarpon. Join me for an incredible day of fishing on the flats of Homosassa! Homosassa is located on the West Coast of Florida, about 70 miles north of Tampa. Aptly named 'The Nature Coast', this area of Florida is teeming with wildlife and the fishing is second to none! The advantage of this skiff is the width and flat bottom. We can get into some real skinny water with this boat and it is very functional for this reason. Forward on the bow is a custom deck we help design with Coarsely Fiberglass Unlimited. Basically, it is more user friendly than the factory one. We have installed two swivel bass seats to lean on while standing thus taking a little weight off the feet for us older guys and ladies. On the deck are two dry storage compartment. We use plastic bags for my clothes and Tupperware for important stuff like phones and cameras. Installed on the port side bow is a 24-Volt 84-pound thrust Motor guide & it is a wireless model. Rates: - Half day (4 hours): $325 USD for up to 2 persons - Full day (8 hours): $430 USD for up to 2 persons - $55 USD each for every additional person If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Owner:Duane

Hi, I’m Captain Duane! I’m a native to Citrus County Florida and I grew up fishing the local lakes, phosphate pits and ponds. Back in the early 70’s, I married a native Homosassian. I relocated to Homosassa and eventually caught all of the bass. So I directed my attention to saltwater fishing. My father-in-law was a native to Old Homosassa and an original member of the Homosassa Guides Association from 1950. I quickly mastered trout and redfish 101, so my father-in-law suggested that I join The Homosassa Guides Association. With his sponsorship, I joined the association in 1983 and eventually served as President in 1991.
