The Ultimate Roatan Diving & Sailing Experience! We are at Hotel Chillies, a great little hotel in the center of West End, with budget rooms, rustic cabins and very comfortable studios, all set in a lovely tropical garden. No need to stay anywhere else. The Boat The Galumbo, the old island name for a rainbow parrot fish, is a 36ft Mac Gregor catamaran with a 40 hp engine. She has 12 tank racks and can be used for diving, sailing and/or snorkeling in any combination! Sunset sail tours are a popular option. • Private sail and snorkel trip This is a 3 hrs trip from when you arrive at our dive shop. It includes: * Time split between sailing and snorkeling in Roatan’s beautiful Marine Park * Cooler with soft drinks and water * Snorkel equipment and life vests provided Cost - $250 for up to 5 people, $40 for any extra. As it is a private tour you can decide how much time you want for sailing and how much for snorkeling. We go any day of the week and any time which fits with your schedule. Roatan Marine Park All divers have to pay $3 a day or $10 a week or more. If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. The company was set up in 1993 by Alvin Jackson, a native islander and was the realization of a life-long dream. He started scuba diving in 1973 after growing up free diving to help feed his family. Having worked for many years as an instructor and assistant manager at the world renowned Anthony’s Key Resort and designed and managed the dive facility at Bay Island Beach Resort, Alvin knows the importance of good service and safety in the tourist and dive industry. He is a local diving legend and very few others share his knowledge of the reef around the island. He designed and made both the motor boats now uses and spent a year renovating their catamaran. Alvin was one of the founders of the Roatan Marine Park, is on the board and is very dedicated to preserving Roatan’s fragile environment.
