In 2001, I loaded up my truck and drove from Texas to Alaska to be a guide for the summer. Little did I know I would meet my wife my first day in Alaska! She was also in Alaska from Idaho to work for the summer. After 2 years of summer work in Alaska, I decided to stop guiding in Port O'Connor, TX, and I sold my boat to live full time in Alaska. Before starting my business, I decided to serve a short stint in the US Army. After getting out of the Army, I started my business in Seward.
