I have always loved the outdoors and have some of my fondest memories of my Dad fishing the waters of SE Louisiana. I started fishing when I was 4 years old with a snoopy pole and some dead shrimp, I was hooked from then on. I have passed on that love of the bayou on to my two sons and anyone that has fished with me. It gives me no greater pleasure than to help someone else experience the wonderful beauty of God's creation and the passion for fishing that I have. I am also currently involved in fishing America's Redfish Cup, The IFA Redfish Tour, and the Elite Team Redfish Tour.

Frequently Asked Questions Do I need a fishing license? Resident and nonresident recreational fishermen age 16 or older must have a Basic Fishing License and Saltwater License. Louisiana has many areas where you can catch fresh and saltwater species side by side. Instead of trying to determine exactly where the saltwater line is, the best practice is to purchase the additional saltwater license if you’re fishing anywhere in south Louisiana and plan to catch any saltwater species. The following individuals are not required to have Basic or Saltwater Fishing licenses: Residents and nonresidents under age 16 (i.e. age 15 and under) Residents born before June 1, 1940, who have lived in Louisiana for 6 months. Preferred License for non-licensed anglers - If you do not currently possess a valid Louisiana fishing license, you can also purchase a Charter Passenger License for $10. The license is valid to fish from a charter vessel in saltwater areas of the state, with a licensed guide on board at all times. This license is in lieu of basic and saltwater fishing licenses and is valid for 3 consecutive days. You must provide the charter guide’s license number or mothership license when you purchase a Charter Passenger License. Licenses are available at special rates for seniors, military, students, and people with disabilities. Lifetime Licenses are also available. How long is our chartered fishing trip? All chartered fishing trips are scheduled for a full day from 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM weather permitting. In the event the group limits early and wishes to return to the boat launch the chartered fishing trip is still considered a full day trip. Can I bring the kids? Absolutely! We are a family friendly charter service. Not only do we allow it, we encourage it. They are the next generation to enjoy what South Louisiana fishing has to offer. What should I bring? • Personal Items - sunscreen, insect repellant, polarized sunglasses, weather appropriate clothing, rain gear, cell phone • Fishing license and identification • Food and snacks • Ice chests to transport your fish home Can I bring alcohol on the boat? Beer and low alcohol by volume drinks are allowed during the chartered trip. Liquor is not allowed on the boat. No exceptions. The Captain reserves the right to terminate any fishing trip due to the consumption of any alcohol without a refund. Is transportation available? No. Customers are responsible for their own transportation to and from the boat launch. Can we keep our fish? Yes. You get to keep what you catch within state laws and regulations. Can I bring an ice chest on the boat? Yes. We only ask that you be considerate of others as space is limited on a boat especially when fishing with big groups. Is there food or snacks on the boat? No food or snacks are provided on the boat. You must bring your own. It is highly recommended to bring something to eat as sometimes during the summer months in South Louisiana the temperatures can approach close to 100 degrees. It is important to have food and water for your trip. Do we have to clean our own fish? No. we provides fish cleaning service for you. You can bring your own fish cleaning equipment with you if you would like, but not required. Can we have our fish shipped? Yes. The shipping costs will be covered by the customers and shipped by us if required. What if the weather is bad? Every precaution will be taken and considered in the event the weather affects the scheduled trip. We reserves the right to cancel or terminate any trip in the event of inclimate weather. Your safety is the priority over everything else. If trips are canceled before leaving the boat dock due to weather we will make every effort to reschedule the trip at no additional costs. Trips that are terminated due to weather after leaving the boat launch will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Can I get a refund? We have a 7-day refund policy. Charters that are canceled within 7 days of the scheduled trip will not be eligible for a refund. No exceptions. This is an occupation for Charter Captains as well. A lot of times it is very difficult to find another group to replace the time slot that was canceled on such short notice resulting in lost revenue. We asks for your understanding and cooperation of this policy.
