Sailing Schooner "Alden" In Key West, Florida (With Captain Only)
Enjoy Sailing the beautiful Keywest aboard the Sailing Schooner "Alden" for as low as $1,800 per day! We always provide bottled water, and ice for any adult beverages or snacks you wish to bring. Rates: Private Charte: $1,800 (With Captain Only) What You Can Expect: When and If is available both for private charter, and for open sails from 2-4 hours long depending on our location. We don’t fake it! We’ll get out into the blue water, raise sail and shut off the engine and let this beautiful sailing machine run the way she was designed to – under the power of the wind. Come help the crew raise sail, take a turn at the helm, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride! As the wind fills her sails and she picks up speed the boat will heel over, she’s designed to move faster leaning over to one side – hop up to the high side to enjoy the view and experience a sailor’s life on a lean! Watch out for that sea spray as we run the waves – get cosy in the pilot house or keep dry back aft and go have a chat with the captain! On all sails it is advisable to bring a light sweater, as no matter how warm the day once we get out into the ocean breeze and some light spray it can feel cooler. We always provide bottled water, and ice for any adult beverages or snacks you wish to bring. Please contact us if you have question.

Our goal is to offer a true sailing experience for locals and visitors alike aboard unique classic vessels. From inspiring newcomers and first-timers, to helping our community sailors hone their skills while serving as captain and crew, We are about sharing the love of sailing. Our captain discovered his love for sailing after going out on a Key West sunset sail at the age of 13. Upon disembarking he turned to his father and said "That's what I want to do with my life" He was referring to sailing, and he has lived true to that statement ever since. He started then as a volunteer on traditional schooners from Key West to Maine, and through hard work and dedication, driven by sheer passion for the sea he climbed his way up the ladder to make himself one of the youngest schooner Captains on the East Coast. He has sailed and commanded some of the oldest and most renowned classic schooners on the water including General Patton’s When and If, the flawlessly restored Fife schooner Adventuress and John Alden’s magnum opus, the Bermuda Race winner Malabar X. Bringing his experience back to Key West, with the help of friends and loved ones he founded the company with the desire to provide a fun, compelling, customer orientated sailing charter company.
