Owner:Captain Nick

I was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and I had a fishingrod in my hand as soon as I could walk. I am thankful I lived on the water the whole time I was growing up my first fish was caught out of a small canal right in my backyard. My father and uncle would take me out on a small bass boat whenever they had a chance. We wouldfish lakes that were filled with peacock bass, bluegill, largemouth bass, various species of aquarium fish, and even small tarpon. For a kid who loved to fish, this was paradise. My professional fishing career started when I was working for Outdoor World in Dania Beach, Florida, while attending college. I would tie flies, occasionally selling a few for extra fishing money. I enjoyed going to work, but I really looked forward to fishing on my days off. It was then I became truly serious about fishing. I had the opportunity to fish with some knowledgeable anglers back then. Most of them I still fish with to this day. My career has allowed me to work in the Florida Keys, Miami, Alaska, and Florida's West coast..I have since moved away from the bonefish flats of Biscayne Bay, to the Tampa Bay area on Florida's Gulf Coast. I have been here for over a decade now. My family and friends were all supportive of the idea of me leaving a promising career as a chef and pursuing a guiding career. I have a passion for fishing and prefer poling a skiff under the warm Florida sun, rather than being crammed in a small kitchen all day. I am happy I made that decision and I've never looked back. I look forward to sharing my passion for fishing with you.Our captain is a fly and light tackle fishing guide working the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas. Fishing is not just his career, but it's his life, his love, his passion. He has over 20 years of fly fishing experience along Florida's coast. Our captain has fine tuned his fly fishing skills over the years and has developed into a positive guide and casting instructor. Our captain specializes in fly fishing for giant tarpon and other inshore species along the Gulf coast.
