Additional Terms & Information
1. Fish Limits and Catch & Release In ocean waters and estuaries the limit is a total of ten fish per day, with no more than 5 catches of a single species, except of the species of Marlin, Sailfish and Swordfish and Shark, of which only one specimen of either is allowed, and which counts a five toward the overall 10 fish limit, or Dorado, Roosterfish, Shad,or Tarpon, of which only two samples of each specie are allowed, and which count a five toward the overall 10 fish limit. 2. Charter Inclusions Standard day sportfishers and all pangas provide boat, crew, fuel, all fishing tackle, dispatch fees, ice & 16% taxes. 3. Charter Exclusions Standard day sportfishers & pangas do not provide food, beverages, live bait, fish filleting or Mexican fishing licenses. The cost of a Mexican fishing license is $20.00 per person per day. Crew gratuities are not included and are customary in Mexico for good service, typically at the rate of 15-20% of the charter rate. 4. Food & Beverages Food and beverages can be provided on request & placed aboard or ordered from your hotel on the evening prior to each fishing day and brought aboard with your group. Box lunches, beer, bottled water and soft drinks are usually items available for purchase. 5. Zero Tolerance Drug Enforcement Detection of the usage or possession of narcotics, including marijuana, by any member of the charter party will result in termination of the charter and forfeiture of all monies paid. 6. Articles Left Aboard Few things are more difficult than trying to return items left aboard, especially after the customer has left the area. Certain items, such as expensive cameras, etc., can often be held-up in U.S. Customs and take as long as 3 months or more & may necessitate your providing a receipt, proving the item was purchased in the U.S. We can not guarantee the return of any item. Please ensure you have all of your personal belongings with you at the time of disembarkation. 7. Food & Beverages Food and beverages can be provided on request & placed aboard or ordered from your hotel on the evening prior to each fishing day and brought aboard with your group. Box lunches, beer, bottled water and soft drinks are usually items available for purchase. 8. Zero Tolerance Drug Enforcement Detection of the usage or possession of narcotics, including marijuana, by any member of the charter party will result in termination of the charter and forfeiture of all monies paid. 9. Travel Documents A passport or birth certificate is required for entry into Mexico. If using a copy of a birth certificate, it must be notarized. A tourist entry visa is also required and is issued by the airlines during flights. The tourist entry visa will be officially stamped by Immigration at the Port of Entry and collected upon your departure from Mexico. There is no charge connected with the Tourist Entry Visa. Frequently Asked Questions: 1. Is there someone who will fillet our fish? Yes, we recommend a company in the Cabo Marina Smokehouse. Please tell your Captain that you want to take care of your fish. They will clean, fillet, vacuum pack and freeze your fish. Pick up on the day you leave Cabo. 2. If I get sea sick do we get our money refunded? No. If you get sea sick, there is no refund. 3. Is there a discount if we book more that one day of fishing? No. Because of continuing rising costs in the Sport fishing Industry. We can not offer multi-day discounts. 4. How far in advance do we need to make a reservation? Because of the success of our boats, you should make your charter reservations ASAP. We have customers that make their reservations over a year in advance. 5. Will there be other people on the boat with us? No. We do not put different groups together. 6. How much should we tip? You should tip at least 15-20 % of the charter price. What you tip will be equally divided between the Captain and First Mate. 7. Can the crew have a beer with us? No. The crew is not allowed to drink any alcoholic beverages while they are on the boat. If you want to offer them a soda, juice or water, that would be fine. 8. Will we get a refund if the weather is too bad to fish? Yes. You will get a full refund if the weather does not permit you to go out fishing. If this happens, the Cabo Port Captain will close the Cabo Harbor. 9. Can we get a refund if we have to cancel our charter? If you have to cancel your charter day, there will be no refunds on the deposits.
