We had a wonderful time sailing around the Bay with Jan. He helped us schedule a time for ideal sailing conditions and he was generous in sharing his sailing knowledge as well as letting us steer the boat!
My wife and I rented a few beautiful hours on the Bay with Jan and Hokahey for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time that really allowed us to unwind and just enjoy the day. Jan was a wonderful host, just the perfect amount of friendly/chatty and respectful of our precious time together without our children. That said, I got the sense that this is what Jan is very good at: Sensing the needs of his guests and adapting to them! The boat itself was great and we enjoyed hanging out in many different spots throughout our trip. It was only us 2 but multiple times we discussed coming back with more people, maybe 8-10, to get a different experience with someone we now trust. The marina was easy to get to and great for parking (we were there during the week). We would highly recommend booking with Jan and Hokahey for an amazing day on on the Bay! You won't regret it! We had a wonderful trip with Jan on the Hokahey. Plenty of space to roam around the boat, and Jan planned us a very pleasant trip around the Bay. Overall it was just a perfect way to spend an afternoon on the water. Highly recommend!
Jan was super accommodating and our trip was amazing! A great experience of the Bay with plenty of space both in the cabin and on the deck. I would definitely recommend!
Jan was awesome from beginning to end! He was quick to respond to inquiry, answer questions and make proposal. He was very knowledge about boating and gave a great private tour on a well kept boat. Would def recommend his vessel and captaining again, we can’t wait to book him for our next trip.
